إِلهی إِنَّ جُودَکَ بَسَطَ اَمَلِی
وَشُکرَکَ قَبِلَ عَمَلِی
O my God! Indeed your generosity has expanded my hope, and your acceptance has led to the taking of my deed

وَ مَن ذَاالَّذی اَنِسَ بِقُربِکَ فَابتَغی عَنکَ حِوَلاً
My God, who can have tasted the sweetness of
?Your love then wanted another in place of You
Who can have become intimate with
Your nearness then sought removal from You

اَللّهُمَّ اِنّی اَعُوذُ بِکَ مِن نَفسٍ لا تَقنَعُ وَ بَطنٍ لا یَشبَعُ
وَ قَلبٍ لا یَخشَعُ وَ دُعاءٍ لا یُسمَعُ و عَملٍ لا یَنفَعُ

O' my Lord I seek refuge in You from a self that is
never content and a stomach that is never satisfied
and a fearless heart and a prayer that is not
accepted And a futile deed

اَللّهُمَّ اِنَّکَ لا تَحتَجِبُ عَن خَلقِکَ
اِلّا اَن تَحجُبَهُمُ الاَعمالُ دُونَکَ
O Allah You do not veil yourself from Your
creatures unless their own misdeeds would block
them from You

وَ فَهماً فی حُکمِکَ
وَ فِقهاً فی عِلمِکَ

وَ وَفِّقنی مِنَ الاَعمالِ لِما تَغسِلُ بِهِ دَنَسَ الخَطایا عَنّی
make firm my intention to obey Thee, strengthen
my insight in worshiping Thee, give me the success
of works which will wash away the defilement of
offenses

بِسمِ اللهِ الَّذی لا اَرجُو اِلّا فَضلَهُ وَ لا اَخشی اِلّا عَدلَهُ
وَ لا اَعتَمِدُ اَلّا قَولَهُ وَ لا اُمسِکُ اِلّا بِحَبلِهِ
In the name of Allah, from whom I hope for nothing but bounty,I fear
nothing but justic I rely upon nothing but His word, and I cling to
nothing but His rope
